This desk was exactly what I was looking for in this price range. Very sturdy, well laid out and nice looking. Assembly did take some time, but all parts were well marked and instructions were easy to follow. I purchased the hutch and placed it on the right side of the L. Also chose to leave lower portion of the back off the hutch so that my wall color could show through. Had to drill extra ventilation holes in the back of the computer cabinet otherwise it got way too hot - but that was an easy fix. Would purchase again!

This is a great desk for the money. Looks great, and has a lot of storage space. Instructions are very clear and easy to follow. Just go step by step according to the instructions. I'm a numbers person, not all that mechanically inclined, and I was able to assemble this desk by myself in a little under 4 hours. All of the parts and hardware are very clearly labeled. Looks great once assembled. It is VERY heavy so be sure to have some help bringing it in, and assemble it close to where you will be using it. It would be hard to move once assembled. Bought the hutch too and can't wait to add that.

Great Product! Finally a company that labels ALL the screws as well as the parts! Instructions were clear and legible, (Not Photo-copied in 6 languages)... Excellent Buy!

This is just a great piece of furniture! It's very handsome looking, sturdy and solid. It took two of us 4 hours to put it together. Take your time and read the directions step by step. And put it together near where you are going to put the desk because it is awkward to move once assembled. We are overall very happy with this desk.

This desk is amazing... Love it... so much space, great product, I also purchased the hutch, and wow, what an amazing desk for the price. I had bought it when it was on sale and when the hutch came free... What a bargin... Would definately recommend... It did take my husband 10 hours to put together, so make sure you have the time and patience, plus a big area to work in.

Like the other comments here, I would recommend this desk to anyone in search of a home office desk, or the like. Great shape, sturdy, and classy (all for a great price!) The measurements are exact (59x59x30). The picture does not show it, but the top left wing of the desk is 'leather' framed by wood; the right wing is all hard wood, great for writing. It's a bit timely and somewhat complicated to put together (approx. 5-7 hours). We purchased our desk in-store; they loaded it into our car (very long box, bring a large car/SUV). Be sure to have a few people help unload the desk from your car, as it is about 171 pounds! Keep an eye out for the Sunday paper ad, we found this desk on sale and got the matching hutch for free! Very pleased with this purchase! Hope you find this review helpful. (PS: If you are looking for a comfortable/supportive chair to go along with this desk, we bought the Barona leather chair (Item # 560255), it goes very well with the desk, not to mention the leather top stitching!)

This is a great desk. My only complaint was that I had to search ten different stores to find one with it in stock - thank you officedepot.com!

It comes in a large box, but still small enough to fit into a four-door Civic. It took two of us to carry it from the car into the house, but the individual pieces are not terribly heavy.

Like the other reviewer mentioned, there are a TON of little pieces of hardware, but very neatly labeled and the screws are different enough that it would be hard to get them confused.

Most of the assembly instruction's 28 steps can be accomplished by one person, except for the main desktop installation. Take your time and follow the directions as they are in simple English (and Spanish and French).

My biggest issue was that there were a few scratches that I needed to cover up with some black marker.
