Overall I am satisfied but I have had a bit of trouble using it. Occasionally a computer simply won't recognize its existence, even a computer which has handled it quite satisfactorily before. Also sometimes it is difficult or impossible to physically insert it into the USB port. Just now I used it, removed it, and then realized I needed to do something else, but I could not insert it into the very same USB port that it had been in 3 minutes earlier. What's up with that? That said, I'd buy it again. By the way, I've used it with a couple of different versions of Windows as well as Linux and had no trouble. I haven't had occasion to try it with a Mac yet.
