OK Stapler
Pros: worked pretty well
Cons: adjustable paper depth, loud
Stapler worked ok. Had to put a piece of paper in the adjustable depth button to keep it forward. Loud.

Great! for the first 6 months....
I have purchased two of these staplers. Both of them broke within the first 6 months. The price may be low, but the product quality is very poor. I was very disappointed that this stapler didn't last.

Engine burns out
Pros: adjustable throat, easy to remove a jam, low staple indicator, portable
Cons: engine over heats, wears out
I Have gone thru at the least 8 of these at work luckily swingline replaces them free of charge. The problem is the engine burns out and melts the glue on the fiberboard. It does have more power that the new staplers like model 42130. If you dont use it alot than you should have no problems with this stapler.

Fine while it lasted
Pros: value for money
This stapler does staple at the most 6-7 pages at a time. I had mine for 3 years, and it just went out. Never had a problem with loading, or with staples getting jammed. A bit loud, but so much better than using a regular stapler for all of the stapling that I do.

Another try
This is 2nd electric stapler I bought. It lasted longer than first. Portable feature was nice. Chemicals in air from Hurricane Ike changed this stapler- still works but sounds like machine gun going off just to get one staple into the paper. Going to trash it & look for another. Was very good before this.

Hard To Load
Cons: difficult to use, performance, quality
When you press the release button to load staples, it doesn't open very far and is really hard to pull open the rest of the way. Closing it is just as hard. One lady in my office hurt her hand trying to get it open and closed.

portable stapler
Pros: easy to use, perfect size
Cons: staple depth slips
I've used the same stapler for 4 years without any trouble. Batteries last a long time and holds a full strip of staples. It's not good for large amounts of paper, about 2-6 sheets. The adjustable staple depth doesn't hold very well.
