Nice Desk
Pros: functional, Appearance/Design, comfortable
Cons: Easily Damaged
The desk is much darker than the picture, almost black, but it still looks nice. I bought a piece of glass to put on top to protect it from scratches. Wish it had another drawer for pens, etc. I left off the back, thanks to someone else'e comment, where the CPU goes and it gets plenty of air and everything works fine.

Great Quality Desk
Pros: Quality of Material, functional, features, Appearance/Design, comfortable, Well Made/ Sturdy
Cons: need two or more people to transport
My fiance and I bought this desk because ours was wobbly and with an baby learning to walk that is a BIG hazard. The product is about 122 pounds but I assembled both sides first in a spare room and then took them into the living room when I was ready to put the top and little piece in the back that connects the two sides. It only took me a few hours to assemble. It is very sturdy and looks very rich. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Realspace Dawson Desk
Pros: functional, Appearance/Design, Well Made/ Sturdy, Size & Weight
Cons: Easily Damaged
I ordered this desk online. It arrived quickly, BUT, there was a crack in the keyboard part. After calling Office Depot, we had it exchanged for another one. The delivery man did an excellent job(the desk is very heavy) of carrying the desk to my door. My husband put the desk together(took around 6 hours) and we are very happy with it. Our office looks so much better and organized now. I am happy with the way Office Depot corrected problems and will buy from them again!

Review 5 for Realspace® Dawson 60 Computer Desk, 30H x 60W x 24D, Cinnamon Cherry
We purchased this desk online and was able to pick it up in store the next day. It took my husband 3 hours to put it together and you will need a power drill or screwdriver. He said the instructions are garbage but it is easy to figure out what pieces go where. It DOES scratch very easily and because it is dark you can see all of the blemishes but if you use it as a "desk" your laptop and printer tend to hide those. This desk is very stylish and looks amazing in our home office!!

Review 6 for Realspace® Dawson 60 Computer Desk, 30H x 60W x 24D, Cinnamon Cherry
Pros: Appearance/Design, sturdy, price, perfect amount of space
Cons: Difficult to Assemble, Unaligned, scratches easy
this took forever to put together --- took me about 7 hrs total including breaks --- the instructions were horrible and some of the pieces weren't labeled, not to mention I'm a perfectionist so I had to make sure everything fit as symmetrically as possible (the drawers on the right side are naturally off kilter). May go a lot faster if you use a power drill and are experienced in putting stuff together.
Also, the wood is great quality but it scratches very easily, I'd recommend getting a lighter shade than the cinnamon cherry though I love this color and my desk looks wonderful. Overall I think it's a good desk for the $100 I paid for it.

Review 7 for Realspace® Dawson 60 Computer Desk, 30H x 60W x 24D, Cinnamon Cherry
Pros: features, Appearance/Design, Well Made/ Sturdy, price
Cons: Easily Damaged
I bought this printer on sale for $99.99 in-store. I was attracted to this desk because it was sturdy, had tons of space, and was priced well attractively.
As others have noted, construction of the desk is very time consuming. A compact electric screwdriver helps this greatly, as does a second set of hands. Instructions are very detailed and parts are generally labeled well.
While the desk is sturdy, the laminate finish scratches EXTREMELY easily. Mine had multiple scrapes on the front bezels before I'd even opened the box. Not worth the effort to re-box and return for that though. You will want felt pads for any metal or hard plastic item on the surface.
Ventilation to the PC cabinet is also minimal. I wound cutting about half of the rear panel off the desk to keep my PC from overheating.
If I were to buy this again, I'd go for a lighter color so the scratches don't show as easily.

SOLID
Pros: matching printer tier is available
Cons: none
I purchashed one of these desks a few months ago and it was easy to assemble and looked great. I needed another one for a gaming pc and did not hesitate to buy. This desk will hold a full sized tower and has plenty of space on top and in the drawers. I caught both of them on sale which was an added bonus. Add a set of sliders when assembling as this is a heavy desk.

So easy to put together!
Pros: easy to assemble., sturdy, great value.
Cons: scratches easily, not exactly a cherry.
I was really reluctant about purchasing this desk sight unseen and the fact that it would need assembly terrified me, however, it only took me a few hours to put it together and being handicapped, that's pretty good.
I was missing a couple of parts but I called the manufacturer and they sent them straight away. No problem.
The only thing that I would change about this is that the color is more of an espresso than cherry, but it still fits in with the rest of my furniture so that was OK.
Next I plan to purchase the tall bookshelf and then the file cabinet!
Thank you Office Depot!

Nice Desk but inpractical for computer tower.
Pros: sturdy construction, nice design, large desk size for the price
Cons: impossible to keep computer in w/o it overheating., long construction time, heavy and difficult to move
I just bought this desk a few weeks ago. It did take FOREVER to put together... prolly about 8 hours. The door was really hard to put on and I actually stripped the screws in the process.
Its really heavy and nearly impossible to move... so make sure you put it together close to where you to plan to keep it. Even strong men would have a hard time considering i wouldn't trust lifting from the top with only a few screws holding the top in place.
Once I got it together tho I do really like. it. Large desk top and sturdy construction. I got it on sale for less the 100 bucks so if you are on a budget and need a large desk... i'd say go for it.
However, after an hour of putting my computer tower in the enclosure... I came back to realize my computer was smelling and overheating. So now i'll have to go back and cut a hole in the back to give the computer some air... I'll also have to go spend more money on extra fans for the computer and some small external ones to draw the heat out. Not sure yet but you'd think they'd be smart enough to realize that you can't just put the pc in a box without any airflow. Thinking back I should have just left the back piece off but its too late now.

Not Happy
Pros: inexpensive
Cons: horrible assembly instructions
Not much more to say. The finished product is okay, but the instructions for this product were extremely bad. Take more time to make sure your vendors include good instructions for your customers. This is a deal breaker.

Missing piece and few labels
Pros: low price, nice color
Cons: missing piece, poorly marked pieces
I never got far enough to have any idea what this desk would be like assembled. After finally getting everything out of the box and trying to identify the pieces (because about half of them didn't have the little stickers with letters), I realized that I had 2 "B" pieces and no "D" piece. There's only supposed to be 1 "B" piece... Thankfully, the missing "D" piece is needed for the very first step of assembly, or I would have had a partially assembled desk that was useless. I'll be calling Office Depot to raise a stink tomorrow, and they better have a VERY good solution.

Review 14 for Realspace® Dawson 60 Computer Desk, 30H x 60W x 24D, Cinnamon Cherry
Pros: lots of desk space, plenty of cabinet space to put lots of items
I love the way the desk looks!!! It was easy to put together and the instructions are dummy proof. The downfall is they shorted me two screws for the top right drawers so I had to go out and buy a package so I could put the drawer in. Second the pre-drilled holes for the top drawer was about a centimeter to low because the bottom filing drawer gets hung up on the top drawer when you open and close it. Overall it is a good sturdy desk for the price...I would recommend this product to a friend!!

Better Than Expected
First as I am sure you have read in all the other reviews the wood is much darker than shown in the picture. I personally think it is a better color. Assembly was time consuming but not at all hard. All the parts are labeled and fit together perfectly. I have had the desk for about 2 weeks so far and it looks lovely, fits everything I need and holds both of my laptops with space for writing. Great desk for the price.

Review 16 for Realspace® Dawson 60 Computer Desk, 30H x 60W x 24D, Cinnamon Cherry
Found this desk at the Peoria store and it felt like the right one. IT IS. Perfect for my needs. Asembly was easy all parts fit, none missing. This desk is a very dark brown like espresso and fits vwith almost any decor. The design is simple and straight forward and looks a lot more expesive than it is. The only thing I would reccomend is addig plastic floor sliders as this desk weighs around 140 lbs.

College Student
Pros: cheap nice looking heavy wood
Cons: couldn't be any more pleased with desk
I couldn't have asked for a better desk based on what was paid for the desk. I got the desk on sale for $99 yesterday 9/17/10. I'm a 22 year old college student and it works perfect in my computer room to fit books, lap top, note book and desk top monitor. The color of the desk really is a deep cherry almost black but works out perfect because I like dark furniture. The desk really looks nothing like the picture it's a lot darker. It comes in a box that literally weighs 136lbs. I needed my gf to help me carry it inside of my house. The first night we worked for about 2 hours putting it together and the next day about an hour. It took so long because she was sick and we only had a screwdriver. If you have a power drill, I def would use it. Once its completely finished its very sturdy and does not wiggle or have any play. All the drawers slide easy and open properly as well as close. If your on a budget like I am this is the perfect desk for you. My friend bought the same desk 3 years ago and it's still going strong thats where I got the idea of the desk from. This desk is 1000x better than the ones I looked at on walmarts website. It doesn't look cheap at all. I hope my review was helpful. These reviews helped me decide to purchase mine.

Love The Desk But....
First of all, I do want to say that I absolutely love the desk, and have absolutely no regrets about buying it. I spent $80.00 for the desk and $25.00 for delivery. You can not beat that price for this piece of furniture.
I have to say first, and I'm really surprised that I haven't seen it mentioned yet, but the color is nothing like the picture of it, on Office Depot. Or am I the only one who received a desk, that has such a dark wood color, that it's almost black?
For me that isn't really a problem at all. I tend to like really dark furniture. But if someone is ordering and is wanting the exact color, and all of the wood grain tones that you see in the picture, on Office Depot's site, you may be more than a little bit upset.
The assembly took me between 5-6 hours. I'm not a complete novice at knocking together furniture, so this actually surprised me. But the pieces are heavy, and you really do have to take time to sort out pieces and read instructions carefully. Had to take a few breaks too, as being in awkward positions on the floor for too long was killing my legs.
The desk turned out beautifully, although I never did, figure out how to get the "Modesty Panel" on. LOL Maybe that's just a two person job? One to hold it in place where the pre-drilled screw holes are, while the other one screws in the screws? After 5-6 hours of assembly, I said forget the modesty panel, I'm just not that modest anyway, the back of the desk faces a wall, and I almost never wear skirts.
As everyone else has already stated, the drawers are a little bit off kilter, but I'm going to just relax and enjoy the desk for a few days before worrying about it, they aren't rugging together, just visually off.

Good desk if on sale
Pros: looks good
Cons: scratches easy
Got this on sale for under a 100 dollars for that it isn't bad.The Assembly wasn't hard but not easy. It took me about two an a half hours to put together by myself. It would go faster with two people, you will need two people to carry it in or move it. All the parts was mark so that's a good deal. The only bad thing is it will scratch easy and is a eye sore I know because when somebody pulled the cpu out to hook up a usb modem up so anyways. Also as metion in other reviews the cpu tower area does not get any airflow so it's not to good for your computer, what I did was take the back panel off cut it so it fit under the my cpu tower so it wouldn't scrtach it any worse, mine is sitting along a wall so it want be noticed. I would recommend leaving it off so it will get better airflow and if you want to cut it, put it under the cpu so it want scrtach it. Overall it's a good desk if you get it at a good price.

I LOVE THIS DESK
I bought 2 of this desks for our office. They look great!! I got them on sale for $99.00 each. The desk is well made, very solid. Assembly is a little time consuming, the first desk took about 4 hours, the second one about 2 1/2. The manual is poorly written so take your time and study the pictures as some of the parts look very similar. Look closely at the rails and the pictures, the rails have several screws holes but the pic shows to use only 2 screws per rail. The rails are stamped drawer right front, cabinet left front etc. I had no problem with them. Adjusting the drawer rail was no problem just loosen the front screws and move the drawer up or down. The cabinet door was just as easy. The desk is very heavy, about 135lbs, you will need 2 people to move it, don't lift it using only the top, it could break loose. The finish on the desk is nice but it is paper thin. I scratched one but was able to cover it up with a dark brown marking pen. I used a power scewdriver with the torque setting on low so I didn't strip any holes, that made the job alot easier
