Better than it looks

I bought 3 for the office: three people with different needs and body styles. Easy to adjust and find a comfortable position.
To me the picture makes it looks like a basic inexpensive small desk chair. But these are solid, with thick sturdy cushions and a steady base and they are a little bigger than I expected.
Only have had them for about a month but so far they are perfect.

Solid chair, good value

I bought this chair to replace an old leather desk chair with arms. I particularly did not want arms because they prevented me from sitting close to my desk. I couldn't believe how few decent chairs are made without arms. This one meets my needs, is surprisingly comfortable and is a good value.
It took me about 10 minutes to assemble it by myself. The instructions stated that I needed an allen wrench and a phillips screwdriver - but two allen wrenches were provided and I never needed a screwdriver at all. Other than that the instructions were easy to follow. This chair is quite heavy, mostly because of the adustment mechanism under the seat. It rolls around easily and the cushions are firm but not hard. The seat adjusts up and down, and it tilts, too. The back only adjusts up and down. It is a bit far back but then again I don't usually lean all the way back in a chair when I am at the computer.
I think this chair will do just fine.

I purchased this chair due to my other one breaking, and I LOVE this chair. The seat cushion is very padded and comfortable. I really like all the different ways it can be adjusted with just the flip of a lever. Bought a second one for the other gal in our office!

This is a high quality chair as the other reviewers state, but it did not fit me. The back sits an inch or so behind the seat making an effective large seat depth. Adjusting the seat depth is the one adjustment this chair does not have. I found I had to put a small pillow behind me to use it. I am 5'6". Also the back has a vertical raised area in the center which was not comfortable to me when I did lean all the back against the back of the chair.

Love, love, love this chair! I only wished it had arm rests. Other than that, I love the way it supports my back and it has just the right amount of cushion for sitting most of they day working.

Best chair ever!! 7 years and counting

I first purchased this chair at the store 7 years ago and when I left my old job a couple of months ago, it sat as good at the day I got it. Went to the store and several other competitors looking for a chair that was as good as this one. No luck. Last night I found it here online and ordered one right away. I have a hip problem and sitting still for a long time bothers me. This chair gets me through the day. I have really missed getting to sit in it for the last couple of months. I can't for the life of me understand why they stopped carrying it in the stores. I would have purchased another chair in store and spent more if I could have found one that was as comfortable and functional as this one. I really like the 3 easy to use levers for adjustments and the fact that I can easily adjust the back rest height. I liked the blue fabric better on the origianal, but to be honest I like how this chair sits so much that I would have purchased it in the most disgusting color you can think of--I don't have to see it when sit anyway.

I am a extra heavy person and I find this chair very compfortable. My legs are finally not being cut off and I can adjust the back of the chair to a more forward position that I sit in due to the height of my low desk. Great Chair for the price.

The controls take a bit of getting used to, especially since the "handles" are so similar in shape, but still I highly recommend this chair. I can easily adjust it to fit me.
