Greeting card envelopes.
These are wonderful for greetings cards... great fit for half fold cards. Just wish they were self stick.

I specifically ordered these envelopes because I thought they had a self-adhesive strip, as it states at least three times in different places on this product page, which would save me both time and effort and would therefore be worth the extra amount I paid for these. I received my envelopes today only to find that they have a GUMMED flap. Unfortunately I do not have time to return them so I will now have to individually seal the 500 envelopes for my mailing. And if I wanted a gummed flap envelope, especially at this quality, I could have found cheaper options.
Usually I read reviews, but I didn't this time (didn't think I needed to for envelopes) otherwise I would have seen that at least two other people have complained about this. The description very clearly stated in several places that these were supposed to be SELF-ADHESIVE ENVELOPES.
Office Depot, please update the product description!

Columbian Invitation Envelopes
These are gummed envelopes, not the kind with the easy stick strip.
They offer a good value when OfficeDepot offers a discount. When on sale you're saving over 25% of cost of the price of the easy stick strip type.
Still a good deal, even for the inconvenience of having to seal each manually, the olde fashion way :).

Not Exactly as Shown
Just a heads-up that these are not exactly as shown in the picture. The flap is not squared off, it is angled and comes to a point in the center of the flap. I thought I'd pass this along in case you want a specific flap, like we are sometimes looking for. Other than that, they are good envelopes. I thought it was just a bad batch, but I ordered 6 boxes and they are all the same.
