Excellent Paper Organizer
Pros: durable, lots of compartments
Cons: edges have to be reattached regularly, will not hold anything too think
I have had this product for about 10 years. It is still in good condition and I use it in my home office to organize different types of paper and stationary. I am shocked that it has lasted this long, but I still use it regularly and would recommend it.

I would have loved to had an all steel sorter of the same size. I could not afford that so I purchased this and it works great for the reason I purchased it
I was kind of dissapointed when I first began to start assembly on this product to find cardboard shelving. as I assembled it I found that if done correctly it could serve it's purpose well if a shelf is not overloaded.

Better than expected after other reviews
Pros: fast assembly, more files in plain view than a single file drawer, separates identifies everything in your stacks
Cons: fine points of design missed, stingy on assembly materials
It certainly burned my behind to pay $70.00 for 4 pieces of particle board and a bunch of double folded cardboard, but it was worth 10 times that to finally solve my problem with this desk-top organizer.
I was worried about the cardboard construction after reading the rest of the reviews here, but examined several sets of these organizers stacked at an O. Depot in my area, that had been in use on a daily basis for at least 3 years in the copy center storing various colored copy papers.
There was very little fatigue and wear in the bins which routinely hold a ream of copy paper each.
It took me about 4-1/2 minutes to assemble -- no exaggeration -- was extremely easy except:
-- not enough glue supplied to fill the peg holes. and an additional amount beyond that should be supplied to run the length of the joints, not just the peg-holes.
-- the pegs were too short and loose to hold while the glue dried, so kept falling apart when manipulating the pieces to finish the assembly. should be a little longer and tighter.
-- should be more of the tiny nails to anchor the backing. but there were 2 extra wooden pegs. go figure.
-- the reinforcing strips of plastic that finish and protect the front edge of the shelves are all exactly 1/8" too short, which is not a big deal, who's gonna see it but me, except what's the problem with measuring it right for $70.00?
-- the grain of the corrigated cardboard would be stronger if it ran the other way on the shelving, a point probably would only be understood by the designer.
All this said, it went together fast and fell apart a coupla times til I figured out how to control the pieces better, and is now sturdy and fully effective in serving its function.
I would recommend it as desk-top shelving to stow papers and files, to keep the desk-top from stacking up with same.
Many of you may be accomplishing this clear desk top with file drawers under neath, but for me out of sight is out of mind and you can't get this much stuff on one file drawer -- with all the file tabs in plain view.
