Good but Unpredictable
I've used this paper for two years now. I switched to it from Office Depot brand when their sheets became thinner than actual 20LB. I've found Hammermill Tidal to be mostly dependable. But I've often had a ream from a case be of lesser quality (thinner) and cause more jams and errors than the rest of the reams from that case. It's expensive, in my opinion, so try to buy it when it's on sale.

I know it's just paper, but it was a good deal and excellent non-jamming paper for the community of 20+ I live with. In general though, whether in-store or out of store, Office Depot has always provided us with fantastic (not to mention speedy) service. We will continue to look to them for our business needs.

I purchased this paper for the first time because it was on sale. I am a value shopper so I typically shop for the best buy. This happened to be a very good buy so I decided to give this style a try. It was just delivered today and I was extremely disappointed. The boxes were damp and looked beaten. Each paper reem was barely wrapped in torn shredded packages that I was almost embarrased to put on my shelf. The actual paper itself was wrinkled, torn and dirty. I understand that you can not expect perfect if it is on sale, but I certainly did not expect this. If it is regular price, maybe it is fine. But I do not recommend purchasing this item if it is on sale. I know I will not make the same mistake again.

I am a paper junkie. I love paper! It can help any project one is working on look really good or really horrible. Therefore the use of quality paper is the utmost of important to me. Hammermill is a great brand because I never have problems with it clogging my printer, fax, copier, etc. The standard brightness of the paper gives it an added benefit for the reader and makes the work look clean right out the door. Hammermill is a pricier paper, so whenever it goes on sale, I try to pick some up.

This is the only paper we use in our busy CPA office. We use it in multiple laser printers, fax machine and copy machine. Hardly ever jams.

I bought several cases of this paper for our office because it was on sale and was less than the Office Depot brand we had been using. Big mistake. This paper smells AWFUL when it runs through our copier and several different types of printers we have. Many employees complained about the stench so I know it wasn't just my "scentsitive" nose. Most of it got thrown out by another employee before I had the chance to return it. Will never buy again, the Office Depot brand is far better.

This paper hasn't caused our copier to jam as some people have reported, but it doesn't make clean copies. At first I thought it was our copy machine, but when all of our printers started doing the same thing, I knew it was the paper. A big smudge of ink appears in various locations on the paper. I feel the Office Depot brand paper is much better quality.

This paper had an odor that no one in the office could tolerate. When it was run through the copier, the stench was overwhelming, and I ended up returning the remainder of the case. Will not buy again!

Pros: give me a minute i'll find one. forget it.
Cons: 99.9% jam free is a colossal fib.
This stuff is so slippery the rubber wheels cannot grab it to feed. Our high quality printer which has NEVER had a jam cannot even lift it. Without having a single portion of the page in the rollers, our printers tell us we have a paper jam. We used other paper, and we have no problems. So far, this stuff feeds okay through the copy machine, but I have two cases I'm going to have to use in a machine that uses maybe a ream a month. What a waste of money!
