Pros: being able to recharge them hundreds of times.
Cons: none
The NiMh rechargable batteries are the only batteries I buy since in the long run they will pay for themselves over and over as opposed to buying alkaline batteries which end up being thrown away. When buying NiMh recharables always buy the ones which have the highest mAh rating. Even though the AA NiMh put out 1.2 volts as opposed to 1.5 volts that alkaline produce hasn't made any difference in all the products I use them in. The NiMh batteries last much longer in power hungry electronics like a digital cameras.
