Pros: nice desktop work surface, fairly easy to assemble, nice design that provides good storage
Cons: required a pick up truck to get it home, no drawers for those who prefer drawers
I needed help getting the box in the house but once it was on the first floor, I was able to open the box and sort out the pieces that I needed to begin the assembly in my son's room on the second floor. The directions were in a 24 page, 8 and a half by 11 inch booklet that consisted mainly of line drawings with no more than two steps per page. The directions were easy to follow step by step. The most difficult part of assembly was putting on the back panels. That almost took two people to hold the panels in place so they wouldn't slide while putting in the small nails to attach the panels. This workstation was perfect for my son's purpose with lots of storage space in an efficient corner unit. There is plenty of desktop space to spread out books and papers when working on a project. My son does not use the slide out keyboard tray as he does not currently have a computer but it will be a handy place to store a laptop when the time comes. The pencil tray that swivels out from a shelf holds pencils, pens, paperclips, etc. and is nicely divided to keep things sorted. The CD/DVD holder provides storage for 15 CDs/DVDs. All in all it is a nice unit that I wish we had purchased sooner to provide an excellent space for studying.
