Bought this thing 5 months ago and has been nothing but trouble. It'll fax out just fine but will only receive after 4 or 5 attempts from other machine. Brother tech support is useless.

I love this fax machine--works well, is dependable, and has lasted over 2 years so far. Never have probs with it.

Nice machine
Pros: quiet, fast, holds 1/2 ream paper, zero jams, economical ink
Cons: none!
We are very happy with this machine. Installed easy on our Mac. It is quiet, fast and economical (ink). Zero problems so far - 30 days. We use it in a home office so low to moderate volume B&W script printing is important. Naturally we have a color ink-jet printer as well.

We use this at our office.( Not a large company) Main problem is the drum unit goes bad and it costs almost as much as a new fax. End up buying new fax. On our 3rd one in less than 5 years. We wasted a lot of toner because machine kept falsely saying toner low, even after installing new toner.

Great Fax Machine
Pros: Display Screen, easy to use, features, Performance
After using a standard fax machine for the past few years that held only 12 pages at a time and had almost no memory for storage, this Brother 4100e fax machine is wonderful! Not only is it easy to use, the feeding tray works great without having many pages stick, the incoming and outgoing faxes are also very clear. We have had ours for the past 7 months and I can't imagine having to go back to using our old machine where the paper would not feed and the quality of incoming faxes was poor.
