Pros: fm tuner very good, equalizer worked well, earbuds gave quality playback
Cons: buttons were touchy and difficult to manuver, battery life was poor
Bought this player before a long trip. Wanted something to relax with in the car, plus at bedtime.
First problem I noticed was the battery meter did not seem to function while charging. So I followed the manual and charged for 4 hours.
Next, the buttons seemed very touchy and difficult to get used to.
The biggest problem is the battery life. Mine lost it's charge in about a day or so while NOT in use. :( Not very useful for a trip.
I loved the FM tuner. It was very good at finding stations, even weak ones. The earbuds and quality of playback were also good.
I think I got a "lemon", and will be exchanging it. Not totally down on Ativa brand. Just think they need to improve their inspections. :)
