Perfect, as expected
Pros: battery life, easy to use, Performance, design

I have used a trackman marble for about 10 years and I absolutely love it. This was my first time to buy the cordless version. It preforms perfectly and given the choice I'd never use another mouse.

Excellant mouse
Pros: battery life, easy to use, features, Performance, value for money, design, very ergonomic compared to typical mouse

I have used this mouse for about 8 years. I used the corded version before the RF cordless version was introduced. It is the best mouse device on the market in my opinion, particularly if you do any type of graphics work or like to sit back when you surf the net. Works smoothlyand accurately, and if/when it becomes a little unresponsive you
usually only have to take the ball out and clean the contact points or install a new battery and it will be back to "as new" performance. If you have never used a thumb track ball it may take a couple of days to get the feel of it, but when you do you will never go back to a typical mouse where 1) you have to find a suitable surface, 2) you have to move your hand and arm around, and 3) you must repeatedly lift and replace the device to reposition the pointer.

Disappointing
Pros: easy to use
Cons: performance

Easy to use, solved my elbow tendonitus, easy to install. However, whenever the PC is the least bit busy it misses movements or goes completely dead until the PC has more free time. Wired mice and trackballs don't have this problem, so I am buying the wired version of this same product. As a matter of personal preference, I find this with the ball on the side and the wheel easier to use than the version with the ball in the center. Both are ergonomic saviors for my elbow and forearm tendons. Well made. Seems all trackballs slow you 2x compared to mice.

Great -- if it were shielded
Pros: decent battery life
Cons: too susceptable to interference

I've gone through two or three Trackman Marbles, and I just love them. The last time I needed one, Office Depot didn't have the corded one, but they did have the cordless one, so I thought I'd give it a try. Since trackballs don't move, cordless isn't really the big win it is with mice, but it was nice to skip the whole thread-the-cord-through-the-cable-jungle thing.
It worked just fine for a couple of months, but then we moved our offices to a new building and it became unusable due to the amount of RFI in my new location. I was never able to pinpoint exactly what the problem was, but it would refuse to recognize button clicks, and would occasionally wander, or stick, or move with jerks. Once it started to click on things randomly, I had to get rid of it. I loaned it to my boss when his mouse died, and he said it didn't act up in his office. So I've got it at home, in case my corded one dies.
