WAS LOOKING FOR A NEW OFFICE CHAIR. THOUGHT I WANTED A BLACK LEATHER CHAIR, UNTIL I CAME ACROSS THIS ONE. TRIED IN STORE WAS REALLY SHOCKED AT COMFORT LEVEL. ONCE HOME MY HUSBAND WAS ALSO PLEASED. GLAD I SHOPPED AROUND AND DISCOVERED THIS CHAIR!

I was so happy when I saw this chair and it was a great price on sale for $99. My office mates were GREEN with envy. It is a beautiful chair and that I will not deny, BUT after a few minutes it is not very comfortable. Seems as if it doesn't have enough cushion and it seems like it is already sitting a bit lopsided. I'm about 5 feet 5 maybe slightly under. It could be as one previous reviewer mentioned that this chair is intended for a taller or larger person, although I could not imagine it holding too much more weight since it is already slightly lopsided as I mentioned. This chair may be ok for the user who will sit in it for 30 minutes or an hour every day or every other day, but for someone like me who purchased it for their office to sit in for 8 or 9 hours per day, expect a sore rear and an unhappy back. You have to sit way back for any back support which is not feasible when typing. I will try to exchange if I still can BUT I have had it for over 2 weeks now. Whether I can return it or not will let me know REALLY how customer friendly Office Depot is.

It's hard to tell that it's not real leather, but it is! I bought this chair when it was dramatically marked down, and the color black was not available. Not wanting to miss this fabulous deal, I opted for the brown and boy oh boy am I glad I did. The color is a rich and cozy chocolate, and fits in comfortably with the office surroundings. It was so easy to assemble I was patting myself on the back for weeks! I even took a picture of it with my cell phone and passed it around to friends and family.

The only problem is that the lumbar adjustment dial is stuck, but I haven't had a strapping young man try to unlock it, so perhaps it's just me. Nevertheless, there are others out there like me, so it loses a star for not meeting expectations, as I fully expect to be able to use all the adjustments upon assembly completion.

Overall, unless you are looking for a chair that has more features or is of real leather, you'll never know the difference. This chair will be the centerpiece of the room, and it's wide seat and tall back offer a comfortable sitting experience.

This chair is very appropriate for large and tall people. At 230 pounds and 5 ft. 7 inches, one family member still has an extra inch or two in the seat to comfortably adjust her position as needed. The weight recommendations are not to exceed 300 pounds, so regardless of comfort do not purchase this chair if you weigh more than 300 pounds or plan on having children on your lap, which will add to the total weight.

Although this is not a real leather chair(for this price;)), the feel and design of this chair is awesome.
I was expecting a decent chair but when I got the chair, it was indeed a "customer delight". I am more than satisfied with this chair. Assembly is a piece of cake.
A neat substitute for a leather without burning your pocket.

I was a little shocked to realize that this chair was vinyl. When I read the description as black FABRIC I just assumed cloth. Had I read deeper in the description I would have realized it but they should say black VINYL in the main description. Still overall a very nice chair.

I can control tilt angle, height, and tilt tension.

I really recommand this chair.

set-up is easy; took me about 10 minutes, and i did it in the wrong order [i've never been a fan of manuals]
seems really sturdy
smells new, that should fade over time
it's still stiff, but that will also fade over time
worth purchasing. nothing spectacular, good value for money, esp for back/neck/shoulder strain we white collar types contend with
