i dont know what the lifeline is for this chair but I got a similar one in georgia more then 10 years ago and it is what I went back to when this one died. It has been I believe less then 5 years when the seat back just started cracking making it unable to use Before this, after owning this chair under a year, one of the plastic chair arms broke at the point where it connects to the chair I was sent new parts and fixed it no problem then the seat back material split and ripped the chair now useless

Amazing transaction. I know it's a special sale but I could only wish online sales were always this easy! I got the email Tuesday night for the special sale. Ordered the chair and had it the next day! It was easier than going to the store myself! Assembly had a few challenges due to the bolt alignments but once I was past that it was a breeze. The padding is super comfortable and I can already feel less strain on my back!!

Cons: poor quality padding in seat
Although the chair is nice looking, and feels sturdy, after six months, the padding on the chair is substandard and you can feel all the hardware inside the seat. And, I'm of average weight, and use the chair about 4 hrs at a time.

I've had this chair since 2008 and it's held up very well and is quite comfortable. I'm 5'8" and 190 lbs. and have gone through a LOT of chairs that usually fail within 2 years and get trashed. This is still holding up nicely after 3 years. The only thing that's gone wrong to date is a crack in the armrest by one of the screw holes. I've requested a replacement part under warranty and expect it to arrive soon. The mechanism and cushions are still in great shape. This is made from a good quality vinyl which is superior to "bonded leather" that's popular now but is not really leather and will fail. REAL leather is best but for under a hundred bucks (on sale) you won't find that.

I feel like a Weeble Wobble
This chair is horrible. I bought 2 for the office about 3 months ago, and both are not standing up to the use. If you only plan to use this chair for about an hour each day, it may last you awhile. However, this is my office chair and I'm in it 6 hours a day. The seat is bent down so that I feel like I'm fighting to stay in it and if I lean back, I tilt to one side! We've tried retightening all the bolts...no good. And don't even get me started on the assembly. These are incredibly challenging chairs to assemble.

I know that it says "Some Assembly Required", but it didn't say that you would have to fight with it. You know, I tried it out in the store and checked to make sure the box wasn't damaged, and it wasn't. So I bought it. When I brought it home and started to assemble it, I had to improvise. Since one of the screw holes was really bent out of shape, I had to do a whole bunch of work to make it work. I really don't like it when you buy a product and you have to invent another way to put it together than what the instructions say. Especially since it was Made in China for pennies. But it was worth the struggle, and it is super comfy. I would recommend this product, but only if you have alot of strength, 2 hours, and quite a bit of patience. Or, you could just make them do it!

Want a luxury office chair without spending a CEO's salary to get one? This is your chair. Comfortable high back, recliner, perfect armrest height (at least for me), looks great, rolls great and most of all, very affordable!

Chair broke apart in 5 months!
In less than 6 months, the plastic side, along the side of the seat, broke at the single bolt. This is crazy for an office chair. Leaning back in the chair puts all of the pressure on this one spot. It should be reinforced, in a logical design. The store manager told me to check the bottom of the chair for manufacture information, but I cannot find any details, so this will not be repaired or replaced. The only info is made in China and imported by Office Depot. There goes $140!

great for the price
i shopped around between several chain office supply stores. i sat in 20+ seats. i wanted to spend no more than $125.00. well this chair fits the bill and then some. i bought the chair for $85.00 after it went on sale to $99.00 and then i was able to utilize a coupon i found online. i am 5'8" and weigh 160lbs. i feel this chair fits me to a t, so i disagree with other reviews that claim that this chair is only for taller people. it has good lumbar support, although it is fixed and not adjustable. this was important to me as i have had lower back surgery. the seat is just tall enough for me to get support for my head so i can kick back and get a cat nap on a 12 hr shift. it also tilts back a little more than other chairs i tried, which was a feature i was wanting. i'm sure there are better chairs out there if you are willing to spend a lot more money, but for under $150.00, i don't think you can do any better. the only negative thing i can say is that it MIGHT be tilting slightly to the right, but i plan on putting a couple washers between the seat bottom and the mechanism on the right side to counter this.

This chair was better than some of the more expensive ones due to one major plus...the high back. If you lean back, you have head/neck support. The seat has great cushioning. Overall a great chair. Use the coupons...I googled around and found one for $15 off.

Defective
The plastic arm fractured at the lower bolt just one month after purchase. This is the second time this has happened to me and I know of at least two other people who have experienced this.

First off I am a BIG BOY, too big but this chair is the cats meow!
My daughter, son-in-law and grandson got this chair for me this CHRISTmas.
When I called her to rave about the confort and fit of the chair she said "Well Dad I sat in about 70 chairs in various stores and that one just felt right".
INDEED, this is the chair for me. Love the lumbar support and I can rock back in it while on the radio working my CW keyer and almost go to sleep.
IF (and I don't have any to reason to think it will not) holds up under this fat man it will be the ticket at this "SHACK"

This is a great chair. It is very comfortable to sit in although it is a little tall it is not as bad as other people put it. I was going to buy a similiar one some where else for $130 and it was not even as good.

I ordered this chair yesterday, after reading all the reviews. It was delivered this afternoon.
I am disabled, broken back, and assembled it myself in an hour. It is the most comfortable executive chair that I have ever sat in, including $700+ chairs. Plus it looks GREAT! I have no idea where these other reviews that it is flimsy and wobbly, came from. Maybe, they didn't tighten the bolts! It is an incredible value.

I’m 6’2” @ 275#, I had this chair for only a week now and I love it. I have read other reviews on this chair and some say its flimsy, uneven so bolts don’t line up, poor construction, lopsided and wobbles. I have the same chair as they do and all my bolts lined up, the construction and quality of this chair are high in my option. My office has carpet floors and the chair sits perfect and does not wobble. I even put it on the hard floor just to see, and it sits perfect there as well, it also rolls great on hard floor or carpet. I have two artificial hips and the comfort of the back rest and extra padded seat are outstanding, I also like the padded arm rest and the tilt adjustment feature. I am handicapped and I put this chair together in under 20mins on my own. All in all this is a great chair at an fantastic price, and I would gladly recommend this product to others. And after having this chair a while longer I will post another review on its wear, rather it is good or bad.
