Great Calculator for AP Calc
Pros: pretty print, menus on graphing screen, cut and paste, back arrow like a computer
Cons: expensive
Easy to use. Powerful machine. Provides the user with many applications that will improve accuracy and save time. Very easy to enter and edit data. It's worth the price.

Disappointing
Pros: battery life, Display Screen, quiet
Cons: difficult to use, expensive, performance
Many functions are so buried that it is difficult to use. Too much calculator for most practical applications. The matrix operations are absolutely wonderful, best of all calculators for that purpose. I bought this to take the Math Praxis test originally. I find the TI-84+ the best for all school uses. I teach high school math and instruct with both models, but students who have this TI-89 have a harder time than those with the TI-84+ overall.
