This is a great little fan! It is quiet - almost silent. It has a classy look, with thick shiny paint that holds up over time with moderately careful handling. Because the blades are out in the open, there is nothing that can't be cleaned - no dusty fan grates. The fan folds down for storage. The cloth blades are very safe - I've inserted my fingers into them when the fan is running without any pain at all. It has two speeds. The only downside is that the cloth blades are not as efficient at moving air as sold blades would be - but on the other hand, they are efficient *enough* to keep me cool, and that is all I ask. I am buying a second unit becasuse I now have two offices and I want one of these fans in each.
