Excellent value
Pros: compact yet packs the features needed
Cons: windshield mount not the best

I purchased this GPS to provide directions. For this purpose it performs excellent. I paid 119.00 with free shipping, so cost to value is exceptional. I have used other models that cost substantally more and found that they both do what there suppossed to do. Get you from point A to B. If you want a basic GPS, this model is tough to beat.

nice features for the price
Pros: sleek inexpensive graphics speech-to-text
Cons: slow response

My first GPS, so i dont know how it compares to others but i'm satisfied with it. It does have slow response to touch but you can't go wrong with the price (bought it for $119) and features like, speech-to-text and reality-view. As with any new product, it takes some time to get used the features and menu.

Good Product
Pros: price, interstate divide guidance
Cons: speedometer off, poin on the go such as nearest gas station is off

This Navigon 2100 mostly meets my expectatons and for the price it is an excellent buy.
Enter your destination and within seconds its mapped out your route. Optimum setting gives best results.
Highway traveling thorugh cities is the neatest feature. When you come upon a divide in the interstate then a visual window pops up with overhead signs of the choices you have--it looks exactly like the overhead signs on the interstate. The female voice will tell you what part of the road to stay on and the visual window will show you how the road divides and will put arrows on the road to show you the direction you should take. THIS MEANS YOU WILL ALWAYS SUCCESSFULLY MANAGE THROUGH AN INTERSTATE DIVIDE! This is worth the entire GPS unit. My wife will NEVER miss another interstate divide again.
Two features I did not like: the speedometer is off 5 mph (I sent in a Tech Support request with no answer yet) and the POI "on the go" feature. The POI on the go feature is kinda of confusing. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Anyway, I would like to be able to select the nearest gas station on the go and I can't see how this is done. It will show gas stations but it did not give me the nearest (which was just a mile exit and yet the on the go gas station was 12 miles up ahead???).
Great buy for the money. Easy to use. You must calibrate the sensitivity screen. Great window mount. I'll keep mine.

Pros: plenty of features, free update, highway lane view
Cons: a second's delay in touch screen

I was Looking for a Basis GPS Auto System with no MP3, media or Bluetooth but with Text to Speech. I have used couple of GPS before. This GPS has proved value for money for me and works perfect for me.
Set the route selection to Optimum and it takes you there.

Great Graphics
Pros: affordable great graphic and free updates
Cons: lag time no voice change

I'm an employee at Office Depot and i purchased the Garmin nuvi 200 and tried it out and then i purchased the Navigon 2100 and for the same price the 2100 is the better value. The Navigon speaks the street names compared to the Garmin 200 that doesn't. The graphics on the Navigon are great. The mount is very sturdy and heavy duty. The updates for the Navigon are free from Navigons website which is unusual but its great. The only thing that i could find to compain about the 2100 is that it has a lag time, meaning when you touch a certain button it takes it a second to respond, i found this no big deal.
