Plastic Junk

Cons: Quality: Flimsy

When the box arrived and we removed the parts they started to look familiar. About 3 years ago my wife bought this same chair for $80. It lasted about 6 months. The base is plastic, the arms are plastic, it is so light weight that it would only be appropriate for someone weighing less than 100 lbs.

Nice home office chair

Pros: comfortable, Size & Weight, easy to assemble
Cons: none found yet.

Excellent size chair for a small to medium size room utilized for home office. The chair is comfortable and provides good support for long periods of sitting. The chair is well made and though I have owned the chair for only a few weeks, it appears to be solid and made to last. The chair assembles very easily (15 minutes or less) with the provided screws. The base is a five prong base with rollers for great support and would easily move around on tile, wood or vinyl flooring. If used on plush carpet, a carpet mat is probably required for this or any other similar chair. Ordered on-line and delivered by Office Depot on the next business day to my front door

Basyx Chair Does Not Last

Pros: comfortable, Well Made/ Sturdy

I bought this chair a little over a year ago. It was comfortable to sit in. It has little wheels on the legs which pick up lint etc from carpet and that gets stuck in the wheels and over time cases them to stop rolling. The worst thing however is that the base of the chair does not hold up over time and the center post below the seat that fits into the base will eventually fall so far below the base as to "high center" the chair. At that point the center post just gouges into the carpet and the rollers are really of no use. You have to pick the chair up to move it and place something under the center post to keep it from tearing up the carpet or scratching up your wood floor.

Intensive Sitting, Good Purchase

I work from home and needed a chair that would help my back and neck strain that is design for intensive sitting. This chair was delivered next day plus they called before they delivered it. Assembly was easy, it took about 15 minutes with help of my 9 year old. I am very happy with my new chair, I suggest you get yours. The comfort is exactly what I desired, it feels like I'm sitting on a cloud. Thank you Office Depot for the convenience of this purchase.
