Super comfy!
Pros: exceptional seat padding. real fluffy!
Cons: none!

I broke my tailbone 2 yrs ago and it's difficult to sit in most desk chairs. This one is the exception. Well padded seat, arms, nice lumbar and head support make this chair perfect!

Cheap, Poor Quality
Pros: comfortable
Cons: Easily Damaged, Quality: Flimsy

I bought this chair 6 months ago and the right arm is now completely broken. There is also no leather on this chair.

I now have to buy a new chair, hopefully one that will last at least a year.

Awesome for the price
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, functional
Cons: Size & Weight

Easy to put together, took about a half hour. Comfy seating. Although it does not really fit my desk all that well. Which I wanted to replace anyway, now I get that chance. Classy looking chair

Great Home Office Chair
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, functional, Size & Weight
Cons: seat needs little more cushion

This chair looks great. Was easy for even me to put together and I usually have a VERY difficult time assembling products.

The back is extremely comfortable. The seat is not as cushioned and comfortable as the back, however.

The color and design present an executive/classic style for any office..home or business.

Fine for Limited Use
Pros: Appearance/Design, features, functional, Size & Weight, Well Made/ Sturdy
Cons: seat needs firmer padding

I've had this chair for 3 years and am mostly satisfied, but after one hour or so the seat is uncomfortable. It is softly padded but needs firmer deep padding to reduce butt fatigue. I paid less than $100 and for that price its a good deal. I recommend a quality leather lotion to keep the leather surfaces from cracking.

Great Chair
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, features, functional, Quality of Material, Size & Weight, Well Made/ Sturdy

This chair is probably the best and most comfortable chair I have owned. I have lower back issues and this chair is very comfortable. Very easy to assemble. Great buy last week when it was $60 off.

Great chair, teenager super happy!
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, functional, Quality of Material, Size & Weight, Well Made/ Sturdy, teenager likes it!
Cons: need to people to assemble

After much hunting and trying on different chairs, my 14 year old decided that she wanted this one. We waited for it to go on sale ($60 off this week), a great price. Definitely need two people to put together, but instructions were easy to follow. Tip: When connecting back piece/hand rails/bottom, use a little flash light to see into the holes to ensure that they line up before inserting screws. Much easier this way, and you will not screw into the leather. My teenager is raving about this chair, and practically lives in it. The color is beautiful, kind of a silvery brown and goes with her very modern teenager computer / scrapbooking/ hangout room.

Sweet Ride
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, Well Made/ Sturdy

This chair is extremely comfortable. It was easy to put together. The only quality issue was a little blemish on one of the arms. Not a scratch, maybe where the varnish dried funny. Not bad enough that I wanted to take it back.

I'm 6'3" and my wife 5'7" and it adjusts high enough, I have to lower it a little from the highest setting. Comfortable and looks great. I didn't want to buy online without sitting in a chair and this thing just screamed comfortable. Nice back support. Great chair and the sale price this week made it even better.

VERY good value
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, Well Made/ Sturdy
Cons: no assembly instructions in this carton

I bought this chair after a very disappointing purchase from another vendor last year. That chair was uncomfortable and fell apart in less than a year. This chairs is VERY comfortable and is the real deal. Very good construction and it feels solid... no wobbles at all. However there were no assembly instructions in the box (let me repeat that for dramatic effect) NO assembly instructions, I have seen other reviews that said the instructions were easy to follow so I know there were supposed to be instructions, but there were none to be found with this one. However due to my engineering genius or (more accurately) the ease of assembly I had it assembled in under 30 minutes. A suggestion however is to use a rachet wrench with allen wrench bits if you have one, the allen wrenches included in the package were not acceptable to adequately tighten the bolts. Overall though this is a great value for an office chair, I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality and value.

Great Chair!
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, features, functional, Quality of Material, Well Made/ Sturdy, ergonomic design, 5-year warranty

My boss and I decided it was time to update our worn-out office furniture. We decided to go with leather, because the cloth chairs stain easily. I loved the look of this chair in the office depot catalog, and the price was right. We purchased these chairs over a year and a half ago, and the still look brand new and they're still as comfortable as the day we bought them. A lot of leather chairs are "hard" until they're broken in with frequent use --- this chair is plush. But don't let that fool you, it also offers the egonomic support you need for long-periods of sitting. Another great plus this chair offers is the arm rests sit a little lower than most chairs, so they fit underneath your desk! I loved this chair so much that I just bought one for home use.

be cautious
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, functional
Cons: Difficult to Assemble, Quality: Flimsy

I love the way the chair sits, but I have had it a month and already two casters have broken apart - one without any weight being in the chair.

uncomfortable seat
Pros: Appearance/Design, Quality of Material, Well Made/ Sturdy
Cons: uncomfortable seat

I really wanted to love this chair! I bought this chair based on the overwhelingly positive reviews. The chair wasn't easy to put together (and I’m pretty handy), but it wasn’t overly difficult either. It was really hard to get some of the screws into their holes - it’s probably easier if one has help. The quality of the chair seems to be decent, and the leather is nice (I bought black). The vertical part of the chair and armrests are nicely padded and very comfortable. Lumbar support is pretty good. The seat goes up and down eaily enough (though who needs to set this more than once?). As far as the tilt goes, there are two possibilities: either the chair is locked into an upright position, or it’s free to rock (one can adjust the rocking tension).

My major gripe is that I find the seat very uncomfortable. There is a seam that runs across the back of the seat, about 4 inches from the verical part of the chair. I like to sit up straight in the chair, rather than slouch down, and this very hard and uncomfortable seam runs directly under my “sit bones” and kind of digs into my bottom. If you’ve ever been on a sleeper-sofa with the bar that digs into your back, then you’ll approximate what I’m feeling on this seat! If you like to slouch down, then you’ll probably be fine in this chair, though I think the seat could use more padding period. Perhaps I just don’t have enough “padding” on my backside (I’m fairly athletic and don’t have a large posterior by any means). Another minor issue for short folks like me (I’m 5’7”, 150 lbs) is that the chair doesn’t go low enough. I think this is a problem with most chairs though, so it’s probably not specific to this chair. So if you’re short then you’ll need to buy a foot rest too, and those aren’t very cheap as I found out. I’ll probably end up buying a seat cushion as well, so that’s an extra $70 total. I don’t mind buying the foot rest, but the seat should be way more comfortable. Because of this, I can’t recommend it. That being said, it still may be better than a lot of chairs available at this price point.

A very classy and comfortable chair
Pros: Appearance/Design, comfortable, features, functional, Quality of Material, Size & Weight, Well Made/ Sturdy, looks like a regular piece of furniture
Cons: none

I must have sat in every chair at the Office Depot store at least 4 times, and every time I kept going back to the Harrington. Not only does it look nice, but it is so comfortable and inviting. I wanted a brown chair, so my choices were somewhat limited because most chairs available are either in black or other unusual hues of browns. I was fortunate to find this chair selling at the store for $169, and I then used a 15% coupon, so I bought it for around $145. What a great deal. Assembly was a breeze (took about 15-20 minutes). The chair was packaged very well to prevent any damage. The salesman even highly recommended this chair, stating that not only does he enjoy sitting in it (stated that he loves how it molds to his back and cushions his body), but customers have highly recommended this chair as well. It is very well made, and I have not noticed any weird plastic odor from my chair at all (as noted in another review). In fact, there isn't that much plastic on it. It's made mostly of leather and metal. The basic features on it are tilt, lumbar support, and height adjustments. It is also geared for moderate use (3-5 hours) sitting at a computer desk, which is more realistic than other chairs made for 0-3 hours (some of those are higher priced too). I highly recommend this chair; your choice black or brown. They both look nice. My husband even liked it.

I bought one set of these chairs (the mid-back executive chair and two guest chairs) and loved them so much I bought another set for my home office. They are very durable, heavy and VERY comfortable. All my guests ask where I purchased them.

Comfortable and easy to assemble
Pros: great lumbar support, great neck support, sturdy base, nice looking

9-16-08
Great buy! Chair is much more comfortable than I thought it would be. I bought it in black and it took less than 30 minutes to assemble. I do not like assembling anything but this has easy instructions and only has 8 screws + 2 extras. The back part is the last thing to assemble and might take an extra person to hold while tightening the 4 screws to the arms. I ordered this on the 15th and within 24 hours, UPS delivered it. Sale price this week was 129.99. A great, great buy.
