Cons: cardboard backing
In its price range this desk is definitely one of the higher quality better looking desks out there. Especially at the $119.99 sales price. Everything about this product is of high quality less perhaps the cardboard backing (but that is a personal preference). I was surprised to find actual metal pieces rather then cheap plastic (i.e. the grommet) in many places.
The assembly process wasn't quick but it was the opposite experience of assembly Ikea furniture. Each step had a set of separately bagged pieces that went with it (dowels, screws, etc) and all the individual wood pieces were well labeled.
I love the look of it and I was easily able to fit my dual monitor set-up with room to spare. At $119.99 I couldn't recommend this any higher.

I spent a lot of time looking for the right computer desk to meet my needs and satisfy my wife from a decorative standpoint. I saw this desk at Office Depot and knew my wife would like the style. I viewed the reviews on the Office Depot website and was very pleased with the customer comments.
I found the assembly process to be very straightforward and enjoyable though I would estimate it took at least three hours to assemble. I loved the fact that for each step in the process the assembly hardware was separately packaged. This made it very easy and less confusing!
This combo desk/hutch was the right size, the right price and the right style. I couldn't ask for much more.

I bought two of these desks for my twin sons who are 11 yrs. old. I was very impressed at the packaging and directions provided. The hardware for each step was packaged and labeled individually, making the whole assembly process go very smoothly. The furniture has a design style even though it is ready to assemble making it a great value for our needs.

Desk is very nice looking, heavy and not hard to put together. The instructions are easy to follow and have ways to make minor adjustments to make drawers and hinges fit like they should.

I read the reviews that had been posted and I decided to purchase the Hutchdesk and Bookcase. It is such an outstanding product for the money. The quality and details are remarkable and assembly was not bad. It is very sturdy and looks very rich. I highly recommend this product.

I SPENT DAYS, WEEKS, MONTHS, LOOKING FOR A Computer Desk With Hutch THAT I COULD AFFORD, THAT DID NOT LOOK CHEAP, LIKE IT WOULD FALL APART, AND MOST OF ALL I WANTED DARK WOOD. I DROVE TO SO MANY PLACES, AND SPENT HOURS ONLINE. I ALMOST SETTLED. THANK GOODNESS, I'M BLESSED WITH PATIENCE. I REFUSED TO GIVE UP. I HAD GONE TO OFFICE DEPOT AND THEY DID NOT HAVE IT ON DISPLAY. I DID NOT FIND IT ONLINE. THEN ONE DAY I WENT TO OFFICE DEPOT TO SEE IF THEY HAD ANYTHING NEW ON DISPLAY, AND BAM. I FELL IN LOVE. LOL
THE ONLY REASON I GIVE A 4 FOR QUALITY IS BECAUSE OF THE CARDBOARD THEY USE FOR THE BACKING OF THE HUTCH. EVERYTIME I BUY SOMETHING FROM ANYWHERE THAT NEEDS ASSEMBLY , THE BACKING IS MADE OF CARDBOARD. I REFUSE TO USE CARDBOARD. SO I DO A WORKAROUND. I TAKE THE CARDBOARD TO A HARDWARE STORE SO THAT I HAVE THE EXACT MEASUREMENTS AND BUY A THICKER PARTICLE BOARD, WHICH THEY CUT TO EXACT MEASUREMENTS. THEY HAVE THEM WITH DESIGNS AND COLORS TO MATCH WHATEVER IT IS YOU'RE ASSEMBLING. THEY HAVE FANCY BOARDS YOU JUST HAVE TO LOOK OR ASK, THEY ARE EASY TO MISS. THEY ARE NOT KEPT WITH PANNELING. BEST PART, I ONLY SPENT $4. THE DESK IS VERY STURDY, DOES NOT LOOK FAKE, LOOKS LIKE REAL WOOD. I LOVE IT. I'M WAITING FOR IT TO GO ON SALE SO I CAN BUY ONE FOR MY NEPHEW.

For under $200 (when on sale), you just can't beat this. It's sturdy, yet quaint in size with a nice amount of desktop/shelve space. I have two 17" monitors, speakers, a lamp, and other junk all over it; for it's size you'd be surprised at what it can fit...and comfortably so! Be careful putting it together though. I went to drill in the back desk panel and a chunk of wood came off the front (certain panels are slim). :( I still love it though...even with OCD.
