Pros: great value for the price, excellent picture, easy setup, plenty of input options, smart remote seeks out cable co
Cons: tough to find store in stock, there are no reasons not to buy this
This set is as good if not better than our Sharp which we paid over $2,000 for. Unlike what others have written here, our set came with both a 72 page manual and a CD for instructions. In less than 10 minutes my 15 yr old son had his X-box up and running and he had prgrammed the Verizon Fios stations along with the remote control. The only change we made to the factory settings was to add a bit more color which was a personal preference to deepen the overall presentation. We have played videos off our laptop computer on it as well as posted digital photos directly from our camera, all with absolutely great picture presentation. I don't know if there is a shortage of these right now (Labor Day weekend) but it took searching in seven stores to find this model- the 242-T as opposed to the 242-V which is a wider screen presentation. You will not regret making the purchase.
