Pros: battery life, Display Screen, easy to use, value for money, region-free dvd player
Cons: a/v video out not working, resume function problems
Bought this 7 months ago so it's too late to return it now, but the one problem which I just discovered recently is that even with the proper A/V cable (camcorder cable), no video output is displayed. Audio output is fine either through the headphone jack or through the A/V jack. I guess I will never know if I have a faulty unit or if this is a general problem.
On the plus side, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this unit will play DVDs from any region in the world. I have only tried Region 1 (North America) and Region 2 (Europe) but everything plays just fine.
One other small complaint is that the "resume" function does not work after the unit is powered off. If you stop in the middle of a movie and keep the power on, you can pick up where you left off. However, turning off the power will send you back to the start.
On the plus side, the display screen is clear and the price was what I could afford.
