Pros: low cost, reliable at 32x burn rate, easy to label
Cons: none
Those who had problems with this brand must have either received a bad batch or they had problems with their disk drive and/or burning software. My disks didn’t smell bad. These disks have performed flawlessly for me at the maximum burn rate that my drive will accommodate (32X). I like the mostly blank, textured top surface of the disk which is easy to label with a Sharpie indelible marker. At less than 2-cents per blank disk, which was my recent purchase price at Office Depot, I feel that I received a very good value for my money.

These may have a little smell to them but hey what dosnt? Anyways dont know what speed my toshiba laptop burns at but I havn't had 1 not burn and play great yet! A deffinent rebuy for me and when on sale a great deal!!

Cons: high failure rate, cds stink literally, bad cds make extreme noise in the drive
These cds are total junk. Higher than 50% failure rate. And on top of that the CDs stink. Yes stink. As soon as I opened the box they were stinking. Inside the drive the bad ones make really bad sound, like a helicopter taking off. I am not kidding. TDK really messed up with these.

I don't know what some of the other reviewers are talking about but these disks are great for my needs. So far I have made 500 burns with only 2 resulting in coasters. The coasters turned out to be my fault by using the wrong settings in the burn process. In my experience I found that if you use a slower burning speed you will get better results. Personally I use Nero 7 and burn at a speed of no faster that 16X. I know it takes a little longer but the extra time in the burn process is worth it. All in all I would have to rate these disks at 5 stars across the board. Take my advice.... Take your time and burn it slow

Not worth the cost savings!
Cons: 1/2 do not work!!!
I burn a lot of music and audio cd's therefore I am always looking for a good deal. Unfortunately - I bought 3 packages of 100. Every other CD gets kicked out for not being recordable. Needless to say my "savings" isn't there. I have never had this problem with any other CD brand before.

Very Economical
I needed these (along with plastic cases) to serve as wedding favors. I have 300 guests and found them to be of good use and quality. I honestly haven't used all of them yet but the first 100 were fine and recorded correctly.

Great value and product
I burn hundreds of CD's regularly, and I like this brand. I burn mainly data CD's though, not music. I usually get the 100 spindle and do not recall having major issues with it.

AVOID-Unbelievable # of failures to burn
Cons: high failure rate, high cost
Worst CD-R's I have ever used. About 1/3 of them fail to burn.
Even with Discount brand CD's, I may get one or two failures per 100 case. With these TDK's, about 1/3 of my burns are failures, ie "coasters".
I will never use this brand again.

II have never had even a single bad disk with this brand. No coasters, no clicks, no blank spots.
Another reviewer had a bad experience with these disks. Every now and then just about all the brands turn out a bad batch. I recommend that you immediately test each each batch right after you purchase. If the first disk is a coaster, return the whole spindle for a refund. If the first disk is a coaster, most likely the whole batch is bad.

Coasters - not CDs!
I have never had problems like this with a package of cds. They are good for nothing but coasters! I have burned 4 so far and all have the same trouble. They are full os static and skip regularly. I have tried them in 3 different players with the same result as well as trying to burn them on another recorder. What a waste of money!
