I ordered this desk and it arrived just two days later. The box itself containing the desk pieces is heavy, weighing in at approximately 92 pounds. This is good, meaning the desk has some substance (unlike most particle board desks).
The directions are very straightforward and to the point. If you follow the steps right as they are listed you'll have this desk assembled in about 1 hour. Don't try to think you're too smart for the instructions, because you WILL do something wrong or put a piece in upside down.
When assembled the desk is very sturdy and durable. The sliding tray for a computer keyboard or writing surface is very wide so you have a lot of room, as is the top surface of the desk. The right side of the desk where the shelves are located is great. Your legs have more than enough room to move around and there is a ton of storage in the shelves.
For those wondering, you CAN fit a computer tower in this desk. Simply skip putting in the right-most shelf piece on the top of the right half of the desk and there will be a large square area open for a computer tower.
Overall this is a great product. The directions were in understandable English (!), easy to follow, and the desk is great quality. I used a coupon for $20 off and got the desk delivered for a total (including shipping) cost of about $86. Search for 'Office Depot Coupons' and you'll find one that works for you.
