Great Desk for the Price!
Pros: nicely designed, lots of space, adult height
After much surfing and searching I found this desk to be everything I needed for the price. I'm not fond of DIY furniture but this actually looks very nice once put together and the L-Shape works nicely in a small room AND you have lots of space for all your stuff. It's pretty easy to put together. It took me two and a half hours (while my husband was at work) to finish...he was quite surprised :) Included in that time I took all the pieces out and made sure I had everything per instructions. If you go step by step it's very simple. I was missing one screw but found one that matched so no biggie. Luckily nothing major was missing. It is quite a heavy piece though--92 pounds! But that means it won't buckle so just don't plan on moving it too much. Some reviewers said the pieces weren't labeled. Mine had everything labeled except for one piece (Q) but some are labeled in easy to see stickers and some are not. The letters are on the unfinished edge of the other pieces--just an FYI. This desk was on clearance at my local Office Depot so I payed 1/3 of the online price which to me is a bargain considering the size and looks compared to other desks. Hope this helps anyone else searching for the "perfect" desk!

Great Quality, Great Price, Easy to Assemble

I ordered this desk and it arrived just two days later. The box itself containing the desk pieces is heavy, weighing in at approximately 92 pounds. This is good, meaning the desk has some substance (unlike most particle board desks).
The directions are very straightforward and to the point. If you follow the steps right as they are listed you'll have this desk assembled in about 1 hour. Don't try to think you're too smart for the instructions, because you WILL do something wrong or put a piece in upside down.
When assembled the desk is very sturdy and durable. The sliding tray for a computer keyboard or writing surface is very wide so you have a lot of room, as is the top surface of the desk. The right side of the desk where the shelves are located is great. Your legs have more than enough room to move around and there is a ton of storage in the shelves.
For those wondering, you CAN fit a computer tower in this desk. Simply skip putting in the right-most shelf piece on the top of the right half of the desk and there will be a large square area open for a computer tower.
Overall this is a great product. The directions were in understandable English (!), easy to follow, and the desk is great quality. I used a coupon for $20 off and got the desk delivered for a total (including shipping) cost of about $86. Search for 'Office Depot Coupons' and you'll find one that works for you.

A Good Buy For The $$ and Design
Pros: very functional for a corner desk, plenty of space for printer and other media Cons: left side of desk could use cpu storage/cabinet
After many hours and browsing several websites while searching for just the right workcenter, I could not be happier ! This desk is very well desinged and surprisingly sturdy even though it is basically laminated pressure/partical board. This desk was not difficult to put together ( it does take an hour or two) thanks to the easy to follow directions. The only recommendation I would make for others is to make sure you build/construct this desk in the same room that it will be in as it will not fit through average size doors because of the L-shaped designed - of course unless you have a wide enough space to move the desk or your door frame is bigger than the overall width and length. "believe me, I tried" This met my expectations in just about every facet and for the price I think is worth the money and time it takes to put together. I am very pleased - Good solid design and great fit !
