BlackBerry® PlayBook™ Tablet, 16GB, Black
Pros: linux os is safest and sturdiest available, with installed sfw so you won't buy many apps, sturdy hardware yet light; excellent size, plenty of content feeds; you won't be hungry now, easy to grant or deny permissions for apps, i must stop before it seems like shilling
Cons: needs a stylus (see review text).
A truly wonderful way to enter the "tablet" world! WIFI very responsive. Updates feeds of news, sports and other events of interest very quickly with one-touch ease. Mostly intuitive operation; you should probably get a stylus for those tiny touch spots so you don't have to stroke the screen to make them larger. After living with the PlayBook for a few weeks, I feel very comfortable with my choice. Would recommend this tablet to anyone for any reason.

Review 2 for BlackBerry® PlayBook™ Tablet, 16GB, Black
Pros: excellent build quality, very fast, multitasks great
Cons: netflix won't work... yet
I love this device, top build quality, nothing cheap or flimsy. I've had it 2 weeks and just keep loving it more. I find the 7" size to be more handy for on the go over the Ipad size. I absolutely love the gesture based OS, I didn't think I would, but it just works beautifully. MY single complaint is Netflix surpressing use of the device for streaming, my kids would like more apps. Ipads are certainly nice, but this tablet is more than 90% for $200 if you don't mind the 7" size; I think it is truly a bargain at that price.

BlackBerry Playbook
Pros: easy to use easy to acces all networks
At first i was like i was not going to like the playbook. But once i got the hang of it i was like this was a wise purchase and recommend it to others. You easily access your emails, facebook and twitter accounts. I can work from anywhere, since its so small and slender people can't tell i carry it in my purse.

Love this!
Pros: features, easy to use, Display Screen, Performance
Cons: limited apps
This is a great little tablet. It is fast and if you have a BB smartphone it links up and you get everything right on the tablet. The picture is beautiful. The way you can jump around to all your programs is cool. I love it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the apps. Since it has the BB operating system it is very limited. BUT supposedly BB coming out with an upgrade in the next couple of months and more will be available.

Great Tablet!
Pros: value for money, features, battery life, quiet, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance
I would say the blackberry playbook is greater than the ipad or any tablet out there on the market today!! The OS is excellent and the speed of the browser is super fast as well. More apps are being added to the app world.

I Love It!
Pros: value for money, features, battery life, quiet, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance
This is my second Playbook. My first is a 64 GB which I use for everything on the go. This one is for my photography business (to show off my work.) i read one review mention not enough apps. It has a regular browser so why? Just type in the site and go. The display is beautiful - my pictures and videos are awesome? It not big and bulky. All I can add is; it gets the job done. Along with your Blackberry phone it can't be beat!

The best 7" tablet out there - No regrets
Pros: value for money, features, quiet, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance, professional looking
Cons: expensive price if paid at full price, the on/off switch can be sticky at times
For users with Blackberry phones with data plans, this is the best tablet to buy. Period.
Of course, there will be Apple & rabid iPad fans, but, some of them are totally missing the big picture. Apple doesn't always deliver the best product in the best interest of consumers.
So, who wants to pay extra monthly fees if you're already paying big bucks for your data plan on your iPhone? Pay another data plan for the iPad. Not me.
Thanks to Blackberry PlayBook & the BB Bridge software plus my data plan on my BB Bold. I have the best tablet in the planet today.
The 7" screen is just the right size. The iPad looks like a dinosaur. Movies, eBooks, my mail and the glorious web are rendered so much faster on the PlayBook than the iPad.
It's so unbelievably fast & sleek that I'm buying a second one for my wife during this "sale" by Blackberry again!

Not at all a good buy
Pros: design
Cons: short battery life, performance, expensive, difficult to use, very hard on/off button, no native email, not many applications available
I am a veteran iPad user and a blackberry user for the past several years. I purchased Blackberry playbook based upon the reviews which I think were posted by RIM. I have had a terrible experience with the Playbook and found it totally useless unless one wants to use it to play video games.
Its on/off button is very hard. Battery shall drain away when its on the standby mode. NO EMAIL. Not many applications.
Conclusion: Not a good buy even for $100.

No zoom on email
Pros: value for money, easy to use, Display Screen, Performance
Cons: does not zoom email.
Pretty nice unit, but doesn't allow pinch zoom on email..Even my droid phone can do that! We old fogy's are looking for something that allows us to read email while away from the home computer. This is not the ticket. Will not do bridge with my 8120 Pearl because the Pearl does not support OS 5.0. They missed the mark on this one. Shame too, I wanted it to be the "bee knees", instead it was the stinger. Oww!

BLACKBERRY PLAYBOOK
Pros: features, quiet, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance
Have used for a few months, and is superb. The Blackberry Bridge is a "cool" feature permitting e-mail,calendar,contacts,BBM,and MemoPad, to be read and used on Playbook, while being stored on Blackberry.Easy interface, great screen, and the 7" screen is ideal (some of the others are too large)+you can view anything that needs Adobe Flash, too!

Great, Powerful, Portable Tablet
Pros: value for money, features, battery life, quiet, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance, adobe flash player
This tablet is one of the best tablets on the market. Has really good screen resolution and records video in full 1080p. Great camera as well. The multitasking on this tablet is one that I have not seen in many. The one thing this tablet has over the ipad2 is the full flash capability. View web pages as if you were on a regular computer. Cool features and apps as well. Would not go back to my ipad, espesially since I can tether with my blackberry for free.

Awesome Tablet!
Pros: value for money, features, easy to use, Display Screen, design, Performance, flash, speakers, links to my blackberry
Cons: blackberry bridge apps need some updating
The BlackBerry PlayBook is an awesome device. I have been following the news about it since it was announced and I can honestly say it hasn't disappointed me! It is extremely fast, the screen is beautiful, the operating system is very user friendly once you take a minute to learn the gestures. The browser is amazing and renders pages faster then my (admittedly, older) PC while using the same internet connection. All the flash sites work great, my son likes to play the games on Nick Jr and Thomas the Train websites. You can download videos from Amazon Vdeo, watch shows on NBC or your favorite network's website, and use the HDMI out to display the shows on your TV.
I was initially nervous about the 7" form factor, I wasn't sure if it would feel too small. I have to say, after using it for 4 days, I couldn't be happier. I bring it with me everywhere and I don't feel weird pulling it out in a restaurant or somewhere to check some things. I can't see doing the same with a 10" iPad or Xoom.
There are some minor issues that I'm anxiously awaiting fixes for in software updates. There currently is no autocorrect while typing in the browser, and the Bridge Applications that link your messages, calendar, memo pad, etc to your phone still feels Beta-ish. The browser that uses your Blackberry's data plan doesn't work that well. I get some errors while trying to load some pages (but note, when you are on a wifi connection or actually tethering to your smart phone, the browser is perfect). The bridge apps, browser included, are supposed to be fixed rather quickly by BlackBerry, and being a person that loves to be an early adopter of technology, I'm perfectly happy waiting a couple weeks for these fixes to come through. If you are the type of person that wants everything to work 100% right out of the box, maybe you will want to wait a month or two before you pick one up. With that being said, I am still VERY happy with it, and I LOVE showing it off to all of my friends, even in its current state. The software updates will only enhance it further. I highly recommend it.
