Not Recommended To Purchase
|
Pros: Appearance/Design, Size & Weight
Cons: Difficult to Assemble, Quality: Flimsy, Wobbles
I have owned this chair for about 3 years now and I must say, you get what you pay for. The cushioning in the seat is horrible I had to purchase a pad to put in the seat, after owning it for 3 months, so that I could sit comfortably while I worked. The chair is not comfortable to sit in over 60 minutes. i would never purchase this chair again, nor recommend it to anyone. It has not broken and that is about the best thing I can say about this chair.

Pros: Appearance/Design
Cons: Easily Damaged, Quality: Flimsy, Wobbles, cheap materials
our company ordered 4 of these chairs and 3 of them had the wheels break off of them. The main company that makes them sent us another wheel/caster, but that broke off as well!
The base is horrible and the wheels and casters are basically plastic. Avoid this chair at all costs!

Pros: looks ok
Cons: poor quality
Had this chair about 7 months...used a couple of hours per day. Stitching came out on the seat and gradually got worse. Took it back to Office Depot because it has a 5 yr warranty. At first they said it would not be covered under warranty, but then surprised me with a phone call saying they would replace the whole chair. Considering this chair is reg priced at $100 even at $50 it is not a good deal if it falls apart.

Pros: none
Cons: cheap construction, cheap materials, costs too much for such poor quality
I bought this chair about a year ago. The material covering the seat has been ripping since shortly after the purchase. Tonight, the right plastic arm that hold the back on broke where it was connected to the seat, sending me to the floor. This chair will cause serious injury. Spend some money to get a quality chair rather than this one.

Pros: price
Cons: cheaply made
I got this chair on sale for $ 50.00 to use in my office. It has maybe a total of 30 hours of use over the past two weeks and I noticed that right out of the box it leans to the left. and then lo and behold today the left arm snaps in two. It looks like I am about to see what the warranty is like on it.

Pros: price, looks, high back & tilt
Cons: poor quality, it will fall apart with everyday use
We initially bought this as chair as a fair priced addition to our home office that we used occassionally. Then, business took off and the casual home office became a full-time office. The chair began deterioriating within a year of full-time use. It started with one wheel breaking, then a second wheel, then the plastic arms cracked. At about four years the chair finally split in two. We enjoyed it while it lasted, but the chair apparently didn't meet our use requirements.

Pros: good for the $$$, easy assembly, appearance, somewhat high back
Cons: not enough give in the cushion
I purchased this on sale. Certainly a very firm cushion...not much give. You can lean further back in this then other chairs. Looks good. The back is taller then a normal chair, but not tall enough to rest your head.
Assembly was easy, taking about 20 minutes, with the included tool.
It's not a chair you would fall asleep in but for a typical office or as a computer chair, it seems to do the job.

Pros: reasonably priced., looks nice., pretty comfortable.
If you're planning on everyday use and don't feel like buying a chair every 6 months, you might not want this chair. We needed a couple of new chairs for our office desperately and got 2 during a great sale for about $50 each. They seemed great at first... We weren't looking for the cream of the crop, just something that would do the job relatively comfortably at a reasonable price. But 6 months later, we need new chairs. They are used several hours a day, 5 days a week, nothing extraordinary. After a couple of months, both chairs started lowering without pressing the bar that raises/lowers chairs, and they still do. The fabric also wore out surprisingly quick, with 1 seam already coming apart in one of the chairs.
If you're looking for a comfortable chair to use on a regular basis, don't buy this chair. Buy this chair if you have an office/desk that gets used rather sparsely and you aren't expecting much and just want a bargain that you aren't planning on using very often.
