We bought this desk for my hubby about 1 1/2 years ago to replace an old desk in preparation of putting our house up for sale. the desk was the perfect size, style and very versatile. had all the space we needed. Very sleek nice look. when we moved into a new house with a loft, we purchased a 2nd desk to match for me and i love it. we've had no issues with either desk. i always shop around before buying and this was definitely the right choice and the right price. other stores had more expensive desks that didn't come close to being as good as this one.

I bought this desk as a replacement to a smaller, flimsy desk. This desk is HUGE. It did take a few hours to put together, but that was because I kept stopping to do other things, like order dinner and bathroom breaks. It went together very easily, without any problems at all. There is plenty of storage space. I do not use the keyboard shelf for the keyboard, but for an addition place to store my notebook for school. I also have the CPU on top of the desk, and use the cupboard as storage for my printer paper, and other miscellaneous items. The file drawer is very useful, as are the two other drawers. I have my printer on top of the desk as well, and I still have plenty of surface area to work with. I would definitely buy this item again, as it is sturdy in addition to being a good bargain.

This is a nice, solid desk. There were only a couple of problems with it. 1st. it took my husband and I 4 hours to put it together because of the difficulty of identfying the parts. 2nd. a couple of the pieces were nicked or scratched. Not quite badly enough to take it apart and send it back but enough so you can see the damage. Over all I would recommend this desk.

purchased desk online after reading other reviews.desk is well made.great looks. it does take 2- 2 1/2 hours to assemble.well worth the time.plenty of room to work and to have components on the desktop.would recommend plus the price is good.

This desk is incredibly well designed and all the parts are manufactured to a very high tolerance. The instructions are well put together and the finished desk looks great, with some really nice design touches. Construction took a couple of hours, and the package requires two people to carry it, but this is an all round excellent purchase.

I bought this desk about two years ago. Very pleased with it. Assembly wasn't too bad, though having an extra person definitely helps, especially when putting on desktop.
Desk is very strong and has held up well. Only real negative is the door hinge which I've never been able to get exactly right. There were two minor blemishes out of carton, but doesn't concern me in my home office.
Other reviewers say they bought recently for $99 online - I paid $167 in 2006. But even at that price, I can't complain.
