I bought this desk about two years ago. Very pleased with it. Assembly wasn't too bad, though having an extra person definitely helps, especially when putting on desktop.
Desk is very strong and has held up well. Only real negative is the door hinge which I've never been able to get exactly right. There were two minor blemishes out of carton, but doesn't concern me in my home office.
Other reviewers say they bought recently for $99 online - I paid $167 in 2006. But even at that price, I can't complain.
