Thank you. The helpful lady who called regarding my order told me that it stood for "Loss Prevention Review." This is a good business practice, but a legend of acronyms would also be helpful.

In order to protect our customers, Office Depot's internal guidelines flag certain orders for additional review before shipping. To help ensure that there are no delays in processing your order we recommend contacting your credit provider to ensure that all of the information on the order, such as your telephone number, shipping address, billing address and email are an identical match to the information that is listed with your card provider.

Many items are available for next business-day delivery. We will notify you of your estimated delivery date when you place your order. Delivery dates noted apply to orders placed online or via phone by 5:00 p.m. local time, in most locations, when credit approval and product availability are confirmed by 5:00 p.m. Delivery dates noted apply to orders placed via fax by 3:00 p.m. local time, in most delivery areas. Deliveries are made between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residential deliveries are made until 7 p.m., Monday through Friday. Delivery times are subject to holiday delivery schedules, inclement weather and acts of nature.

Order Tracking is a chronological record of your purchases and will show you all the orders that you have placed with us. Registered customers can view information about a particular order by logging in and clicking 'Order Tracking' in the upper right of the web site, then clicking on the order number. Orders can also be located by searching by order number or date range. Customers who placed a guest order (without registering) can access their order by entering the order number and the phone number that was on the order. After accessing the order, you can click the tracking number to track the delivery.

Based on product dimensions, weight and the delivery services in your zip code, additional delivery fees may apply. This charge is per order, regardless of how many products are ordered. Actual delivery prices will be provided at checkout. Delivery time frames vary, based on your zip code, and will be calculated at checkout. This is valid for in-stock furniture and oversized technology.

A delivery fee will be charged within our local delivery areas for orders less than $50 based on order size, weight, shipping method and delivery address. The minimum fee is $9.95. Additional charges may apply for orders outside our local delivery areas, including areas outside of the continental United States. Delivery fees, if any, will be noted at checkout. Delivery fees are non-refundable if the order or part of the order is returned unless the product is damaged or defective. Delivery fees are subject to change without notice.

Unfortunately, Office Depot is unable to accept requests for specific delivery times. Our delivery hours are between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Residential deliveries via UPS are made until 7 p.m. Holidays and weather permitting.

For your protection, Office Depot does not leave merchandise valued at more than $250 without a signature at the time of delivery. Any boxes marked by a vendor, such as Hewlett Packard, Toshiba, etc., for example, cannot be released without a signature regardless of the value of the merchandise.

Special Orders are not available in Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico and may require additional time for delivery. For customizable items like custom stamps or promotional mugs, pens, etc, the production and shipping time of your order will be determined by the personalized options requested.

"In Process" - Your order has been received and is being processed for delivery. "Shipped" - Your order has been routed for delivery and reconciliation. "Delivered" - Your order has been reconciled. "Canceled" - Your order has been canceled. "Held" - Your order is being held (Please contact 800-Go-Depot for additional information). "Backordered" - Your order has been backordered. "Returns" - Your return has been processed. "Service Pending" - Your service order (computer or peripheral device) is pending. "Service in Progress" - Your service order (computer or peripheral device) is being processed.

WHY can you not send to an APO/FPO box?

My address is an APO Box. That is a US Government postal box overseas. It has absolutely nothing to do with you and I am even able to receive very large and very heavy packages. So why are you not able to sent it to my address?

Once an order has been placed it is not possible to alter the delivery date. If you are placing an order and know that you will need a later delivery date, please call customer service at 1.800.463.3768. Customer service will be able to place the order for you and change the delivery to a future date in our system.
